Of course I wasn't born yet when Apollo 11 first landed on the moon.

But I have always been very fascinated seeing the pictures of the moon landing when I was a kid.

More Apollo 11 photos here.

"Houston, we have a problem."

Space is still such a mysterious place to me, and astronauts are almost like demi-gods on chariots of intergalactic material.

Proud to say the first Asian-American astronaut came from Hawaii! Ellison Onizuka. :) But he died much too early.

I have always wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. I remember playing those NASA Space Shuttle toys and dreamt of exploring in space. Well, I guess I have always been fascinated with whatever is out there.

Us Filipino too has some contribution with the moon landing, Our very own Eduardo San Juan was the one who designed the Moon Buggy (Lunar Rover) which was used during the Apollo 12 landing. :)
